Raised in Northern Alabama, Karen Hall learned to love reading and writing at an early age. Having discovered Shakespeare and Masterpiece Theatre at the age of twelve she instantly became a fan of all things British. She is a charter member of Smoky Mountain romance Writers and has won numerous awards for her late-Victorian romances. Trained as a clinical social worker she makes her home in East Tennessee with the lads Holmes and Watson. When not writing romance she enjoys gardening, cooking for friends, and running to the Opera.
